mid December 2004, the painting of the Tacoma StarLifter in the
"White Cap" scheme had been completed. All detail markings
(unit insignias, stencils, etc) had been meticulously hand painted by
McChord Painters from the 62d and 446th Airlift Wings. To honor this
team effort, crews added the "446th MAW" designator to the
airlifters nose.
